Handmaids

Handmaids. As I see it the most important role in our society. They are the role that gives life to society. With out the handmaids, our society would not be thriving as it is. Our government is based on the population of our country. With the handmaids, our population is booming. It gives men, whose wives are diagnosed with not having the ability to have children, a chance to have children of their own. When one talks to a handmaid though, they do not realize how they are helping society. I have never met a handmaid who was full of life and happy to be what they were. The last time I talked to a handmaid, she seemed sullen and depressed. Some part of me wanted to show her the good she is doing for our country. Those who are handmaids seem not to deserve the privilege of giving life. It should be given to those who want to give life to our society, but fortune has given us handmaids with no interest, it sickens me.

Day One

I have been hired as a gurdian by commander lloyd. He is a man of 53 years old, but is as vibrant as a child. I on the other hand am very serious about my job. No one goes past me without me interupting their path. Though me and my commander are alike in looks. We both have jet black hair and are very tall. Though while his face shows wisdom mine shows youth. I have always longed to be a gurdian, because it gets me closer to my goal of being an angel.
